Lucas Mentasti is Chief Executive Office, Latin America of Xaxis. As CEO, Latin America Lucas is responsible for Xaxis strategy, development and operations in Latin America, including account management, trading, publisher relations and partnerships.
Previously, Lucas was managing director, Latin America where he successfully launched Xaxis operations in Miami, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Puerto Rico, building the Latin America business to more than 250 clients while doubling in revenue each year. Additionally, under his leadership he launched the regions’ first fully-featured audience buying platform and grew the Latin American team from a single employee to a staff of 45.
Prior to joining Xaxis, Lucas served for three years as Vice President, Digital Director Latin America for Starcom. In this role, Lucas was in charge of the digital products for all company clients and pioneered the Audience Buying model in the region. Lucas is often quoted in major Latin American trade publications as a thought leader within the region.
Lucas has more than 15 years of online advertising experience, leading digital areas for agencies including Havas and DDB in his homeland of Argentina. He also has management consulting experience as he served as an Associate Consultant for The Boston Consulting Group.
Lucas has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from Universidad Torcuato di Tella and a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University.
